Jaisalmer, like many cities worldwide, faces excessive reliance on plastic, which poses a severe threat to Jaisalmer’s drainage system, health and sanitation. I Love Jaisalmer’s film-based project inspired local tea sellers to ditch plastic cups. An anti-plastic campaign was started with the support of the government. The foundation distributed free earthen cups to promote sustainable alternatives. The campaign quickly gained popularity, leading to a shift in behaviour among locals. Building up on the initiative, this drive is further taken up under Jaisalmera- Mera Shahar Meri Zimmedari.
