The city hospital, located 15 km from Lodhurva, and the non-operational village health sub-centre for over 7 years left villagers unaware of the importance of regular eye care. Access to proper eye care was limited for many rural families. Recognizing the need, I Love Jaisalmer organised a free, day-long eye check-up camp with a team of expert ophthalmologists for the community. Villagers with low vision were provided with spectacles, and many patients with serious eye ailments were diagnosed and prescribed treatment.
