As part of the ongoing community-led plantation initiative, trees were planted in 10 locations, including remote government schools and villages around Jaisalmer, particularly along the Sam Road, an arid area falling under the Desert National Park (DNP). These ares mostly consists of sand dunes (44%), pediments, pavements, and structural plains. Additional plantations were also conducted at Maheshwari Hospital in the city.
