Since its inception, I Love Jaisalmer has partnered with the District Administration to help plan and organize the festival's events. Since Desert Festival 2014, I Love Jaisalmer has mobilised volunteers, established tourist help centers, installed informational signage, conducted city-wide cleanliness drives, and decorated Jaisalmer Fort. Dine with Jaisalmer In 2021, I Love Jaisalmer introduced 'Dine with Jaisalmer' during the Desert Festival. This community-driven initiative connects tourists with local families for immersive cultural experiences through traditional cuisine. With the participation of 15 families, over 250 tourists joined in, providing a boost to Jaisalmer after the pandemic. The program included food, heritage, textile, temple, and birdwatching trails alongside the dining experience. In subsequent years, I Love Jaisalmer expanded the program to include more families from diverse backgrounds, involving folk musicians, artisans, historians, environmentalists, and wildlife experts. 'Dine with Jaisalmer' promotes intercultural understanding and supports local arts and crafts.
